Day 3 - Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X
Hey there, day 3 is done! Just did Shoulders & Arms followed by Ab Ripper X. The first of them was actually easier than the two on the previous days.
I'm doing it with the bands because I don't think I'm at the level required for the weights. Also, my dumbbells are those that you add and remove weights as necessary, so they have the plus of flexibility but the minus that for changing them you have to actually spend some time regulating them, not a great fit for P90X videos.
I didn't do the bonus round because I knew I had the Ab Ripper X waiting for me after it and this one was always one of the hardest for me.
With Ab Ripper X it didn't feel impossible, though I didn't push myself to do all the reps for all exercises. When it started to really hurt, I'd stop and wait for the next exercise. My hopes are that over time I'll be able to handle more and more, eventually completing all the reps. Despite that, I couldn't finish the whole program either. I think I did a little more than half of it today and jumped to the stretching part.
I'm somewhat eager to get better and be able to handle the whole programs, though I'm aware of my current fitness level, and I wanna keep the program in a range where I don't give up.
Oh, I've been feeling like I need to sleep way more since I started P90X. Good sign, right?
